The Death of Love

“For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgement” – 2 Peter 2:4, New Testament

It started off as a rainy day back in the United Kingdom at Gatwick airport. At around four in the morning a couple Julie and Sarah were waiting for their flight to France where they would land in Toulouse – Blagnac Airport and find a hotel called Le Jardin des Rêves which in English means The Garden of Dreams and is located in Les Jacobins. Les Jacobins has a unique description which is “The labyrinth of narrow lanes and alleys that make it the most interesting part of Toulouse’s old town” and so that description is what lead Julie and Sarah to get a hotel room out here for their romantic week together, where they will have expensive dinners and visit galleries such the Les Abattoirs (Toulouse Modern and Contemporary Art Centre) and Musée des Augustins. While they are unpacking back at Le Jardin des Rêves in room 33A an employee came by to drop of their top choices for local restaurant’s to eat out at, which they do for all their new visitor’s and when they finished Julie and Sarah both sat down on the sofa to relax for a moment and cuddle up to each other and decide on which restaurant’s to go to over the week they will be there and there was one that really stood out for the both of them which they both choose to be their last expensive restaurant to go to before they leave France and it was called éclipse de la rose “eclipse of the rose” and they choose that one because it was elegant and modern with futuristic features that highlight the pure beauty of the building and was expensive to say the least, but it would be worth every penny and nothing can put a price on true love. During their week in Toulouse they had visited various locations and took lots of photo’s together, but there was one place they loved and that was Canal du Midi, it was a beautiful site especially in the morning when the sun comes out and the fog is still in the air as it contrasts with the scenery and that’s why they had left early Wednesday morning so they could spend the whole day there together and witness the sunrise and have a picnic along the canal.
